Mozart in my hands
Mozart was especially fond of his piano concertos. They suggest a carefree lightness and ease, but interpreting them is far from easy.
MuTh and the Junge Philharmonie Wien are offering gifted young pianists the opportunity to introduce themselves to the listening public in a professional setting, by performing a Mozart piano concerto with an orchestra. The players are chosen by a committee that includes the pianist Paul Gulda, professor of piano Franz Zettl, the conductor of “prima la musica Wien” Angelika Persterer-Ornig, and conductor Michael Lessky.
